AA Migration in PET Water Bottles: Achieving Product Protection and Maintaining Aesthetic Quality
Water packaged in PET is susceptible to AA migration, which can have a negative effect on taste and odor. Additive solutions are available, but the addition of AA scavengers can affect the clarity of PET containers. This paper explores some of the technologies available and how PET polymer clarity can be maintained through multiple preform molding processes.
